I will Illustrate the discrimination by the county of  Santa Barbara by making several main points.
This whole thing started in mid 2007 when my son was in placement after being taken out of his mothers home. I was participating in my family reunification services and my case worker was Lucia Bodine.
My son informed me of abuse going on in his foster home. Mainly that he was being forced to lie about the foster fathers occupation… he was in the air force. I filed a child abuse report. About a week later I received a letter from Lucia Bodine, our case worker, which stated that she was resigning and Isaiah had been found to be mentally disturbed by an IEP (Individual Education Plan), and that Isaiah had been moved to am institution in Beaumont, Ca. 250 miles away!

I was horrified. I demanded to speak with a supervisor, no one would return my calls. Finally I called the Lompoc branch of the Santa Barbara Count Sheriff’s Dept. I spoke to a Sgt. Allen Who came to my residence and spoke with me. He agreed what happened seemed unreasonable and said that this situation was so volatile that he should be given a chance to speak with the supervisor… Caroline Karnoskis, and have her call me to explain what was going on. Only after Sgt. Allen paid them a visit did the supervisor call me. She said she knew nothing of Lucia’s plan to let Isaiah come home August 1st, and that Isaiah was going to be detained  indefinitely.

I appeared in court August 1st.  My county appointed juvenile court attorney  Michael Carty did not speak to me before court and got up and told the judge that I was not participating in my family reunification services and I was confrontational, county child welfare services had assigned the case to a worker who was on vacation and did not attempt to convince the court that I had in fact been participating in my family reunification services and remained silent.

I told the judge what had happened with the child abuse report and Lucia Bodine quitting and the unfair treatment and demanded a new lawyer and a review in 30 days. Judge Adams told me I would not receive a new lawyer or a review and then I was dismissed from court. Alison, Her Husband and I all worked for the judges son, a big time crook who’s been raided by the federal authorities when I worked there.

After Judge Adams dismissed me from court, he relieved my attorney and did not appoint me another one like I had requested and transferred the case to a new city, Santa Maria. And ordered a mental evaluation on me. I have never been diagnosed with a mental illness, child welfare services has placed Isaiah with me time and again and never requested a mental evaluation of me, and I believe this is part of their plot to discredit me.

I had my apartment in Lompoc in my name for over a year and participated in my reunification services and yet no effort was ever made to provide me with family reunification services, in fact after months of waiting I was finally suspended from my alcohol treatment class CWS was demanding I be enrolled in because they still had never been paid by the county. This could ultimately jeopardize my drivers license and ability to visit Isaiah, my court ordered visitation and phone contact are impossible for the county to live up to and the distance between my son and I, the lack of proper visitation and contact, and pharmaceutical medications including a drug called PENEX and my son’s behavior is getting more aggressive! The county is administering to my son without proper diagnosis is causing my son more harm than good.

Now the police and District Attorney are shamelessly trying to discredit me as well and I barely escaped with my 78 year old mother to Ventura. In fact if you look at my criminal record I have repeatedly been basically set up time after time after time in an attempt to discredit me when this all came to light. Why? Because I believe ultimately the county of Santa Barbara is covering up for not only their own mistakes, but the sexual molestation of Alison by her father, the well respected dentist in Santa Barbara, John Burk. Something Alison has been complaining about for years, and is documented by CWS. I have reported all of this to the FBI, Grand Jury, and Attorney General.  Santa Barbara run by big time crooks and child molesters? My god… help us all…
