Kosovo has celebrated one year of its independence day on 17 February 2009. One year after the Declaration of Independence finds Kosovo in a complicated mashed web of un-synced governance bodies.

Kosovo is still according to the UN resolution 1244, a integrated part of Yugoslavia, a country that legally seized to exist years ago and at the same time Kosovo is being recognized as an independent country by 22 out of 27 EU Countries. However,  EULEX, the EU Mission in Kosovo has decided to keep a neutral approach towards Kosovo's Status.

Kosovo is recognized as an independent country by 55 countries

The Economic situation is still gruesome and dire. The gray economy that takes up a large percentage of economics of Kosovo has killed the spirit of state building and fair competition is almost a strange vocabulary for doing business in Kosovo.

The future looks dim but the spirits are high for Change and better Governance.
