Kyron Horman Investigation Update: Uncle Arrested on Other Charge
Kyron Horman Has Been Missing For Two Weeks: Police Are Circulating a Flier Asking For Information About His Stepmom, Hoping to Jog Peoples' Memories and His Uncle Has Been Arrested on An Unrelated Charge
Kyron Horman (photo) went missing from Skyline Elementary School in Portland Oregon on Friday June 4 during a science fair and his stepmom says she last saw him walking towards his classroom.
Now police have published a flier that they have distributed to staff, parents and delivery drivers containing questions about Kyron's stepmom Terri:
"Did your child see Kyron's step-mom, Terri on 6/4/10, at or near the school?" It also asked, "Did your child see a white Ford F250 pickup truck on 6/4/10 at or near the school?"
Police have said that Terri is not a suspect in the case, but the flier is used as a tool to jog peoples' memories as she is the last one who supposedly knew Kyron to see him that Friday. The family approved of the flier and Multnomah County Captain Jason Gates read a statement form the Horman family to reporters:
“Any parent would understand the grief that this causes our family… please know that we fully support the release of this flier and we want Kyron home and we hope that this will do that."
Kyron Horman's disappearance will be featured on America's Most Wanted this weekend and People Magazine will be running an article. Police have not said if they have any people of interest in the case but they did say that tips are still coming in as to possible locations of the seven-year-old.
Meanwhile, Kristian Horman, Kyron's uncle has been taken in to custody after being convicted on charges of child molestation as he allegedly had a sexual relationship with a 16-year-old girl. He will now serve six months in prison.
