A/L Results Released Today

(Colombo, Lankapuvath) In a dramatic turn of events avoiding any further delay, the Education Ministry and the Examinations Department have moved in quite swiftly to release the results of the GCE (Advance Level) Examination in 2011 at any moment today, well placed sources from the Examination Department disclosed.

The results could be accessed on the Examination Department website link-www.doenets.lk,the sources said.

The University Grants Commission(UGC) and the Examinations Department were busy last night round the clock finalizing the comparison between the results obtained by the students and X score marks, the sources added.

Education Minister Bandula Gunawardene told Parliament last Saturday in a special statement that all measures would be taken to release the results by end this week.

He also expressed confidence in meeting that deadline to release the results.
