Labour have held their seat in the Glasgow North East By-election.
The Scottish National Party (SNP) has came second, Conservatives third and the British National Party (BNP) forth place.
Labour has been the the main party in that area of Glasgow for the last 74 years.
Labour has won the Glasgow North East by-election, sparked by Michael Martin's resignation as Commons Speaker in the wake of the MP expenses scandal.Willie Bain won for the party, while the SNP came second after failing to break through in what has been safe Labour territory for the last 74 years.
The Tories came third, leaving the British National Party in fourth place. Left-wing Solidarity came fifth.
Voter turnout, at 33.2%, was a record low for a Scottish by-election.
The Liberal Democrats came in sixth place.
