Meanwhile throughout last week Sri Lanka Army could find large scale of weapons, ammunition and other warlike military hard wares from LTTE areas.Sri Lanka Army has found two pointed rocket-type experimental bombs(see the Picture) of 10 ft in height with a separate launcher, according to experts, could go up as high as some 300 meters when ignited. Each bomb could accommodate 200 kg of C-4 explosives inside when in use, with the support of the separate barrel launcher that was also discovered. This man-made bomb, had it turned successful, would have brought a burning impact on an area, equivalent to some 1 Х 1 sq km according to military hardware experts. Also they have found three 130 mm artillery guns, one 122 mm artillery gun, six 122 mm artillery trailers, one thermo baric weapon and Mini Multi Barrel RL.Sri Lankan Army 57 DIVISION troops operating in VISUAMADU area during a search carried out into deep jungles after the area was brought under them came across an LTTE mass-scale mortar and bomb manufacturing factory that used metal, granite, iron and chemicals for production of explosives. In coming weeks LTTE loose their battle tanks also.
