Bomb disposal squad after strict scanning cleared Shah Faisal Mosque for the public; security officials got bomb threat in Shah Faisal Mosque after which Mosque has been evacuated for scanning.

According to the details, the phone call was received to American embassy in Islamabad that bomb has been planted in Shah Faisal Mosque, according to the phone call the bomb was bound to go off at 10:00 pm local time.

On receiving this information embassy officials informed the local security officials after which mosque has been vacated from all those who were present there in the mosque and people who were in Aitikaf were bothered and were shifted in the side.

According to Geo T.V correspondent bomb disposal squad earlier vacated central hall for scanning later bomb disposal squad cleared all parts of Shah Faisal Mosque.

The bomb threat received at the time when Traweeh prayers were underway, security officials vacated all the people present at that time.

ISLAMABAD: Islamabad’s grandeur Faisal mosque has been evacuated after a bomb threat, according to Geo News.

According to sources, an unknown person called police and said a bomb was placed inside the Faisal mosque. The police, after getting tip-off, cordoned off the area and search operation is underway.
