On the night of July 16, 1918, at the height of the Russian civil war, Tsar Nicholas II, his wife, Alexandra, their daughters, Olga, Tatiana, Maria, and Anastasia, and their son, Alexei, were shot by their Bolshevik captors. Rumors arose and persisted for years that not all of the family had died in the slaughter. A suit for legal recognition brought in Germany by Mrs. Anna Anderson, the woman who claimed to be Anastasia, the tsar’s youngest daughter, dragged on for nearly 40 years and ended in a draw when the West German Supreme Court left the case unresolved: judicially, the claim was neither established nor refuted. However later DNA tests proved she was an impostor.

anastacia is not dead. i think people look at the facts too much and why not just believe in a miracle i know i dont know a whole lot but i know enough. people need to stop fact basing everything and just listen to your heart and mine tells me she lived i know she did. nobody just falls off the face of the earth like that

not to be johnny rain-cloud but she was shot, stabbed, dismembered, thrown down into a well with a couple of Grenades, and they found the remains of the family and they ran DNA tests and they tested positive for her body.... she is  dead

Apparently from I read, you really do not know a lot.  Believe in miracles?  Stop basing everything on facts?  Sure, spirituality can be great, but when it comes to history and genealogy, we would kind of have to base these findings on factual information, not just a "gut" instinct. Without that, anything that we publish as far as research and findings will have no kind of credible substance.

Basically, your pretty stupid.

Years ago I thought about buying my mom a porcelain doll of Empress Alexandra...my mom thought I looked just like her. Just last week I started some digging on the internet to see if our family would be related (because my mom's family is from Lithuania) ... I sure found out we aren't related in any way shape or form, but to add to this conversation... all family members were killed and I believe I read that the two younger children's bodies were found in 2007.
