Lawsuit Challenges Barack Obama Citizenship
Upon learning of the lawsuit, I couldn’t help but conclude that Berg must have read one of these Bob McCarty Writes posts about the presumptive Democratic Party presidential nominee:
Barack Obama Birth Certificate Dubbed a Fake (July 21, 2008)
Update Offered on Bogus Obama Birth Certificate (Aug. 4, 2008)
Blogger Demands FEC Verify Obama’s Eligibility (Aug. 7, 2008)
Below are the key points of the lawsuit which, if successful, could turn the 2008 presidential election process upside down:
1. Obama is a representative of the Democratic People. However, the Obama must meet the Qualifications specified for the United States Office of the President, which is he must be a “natural born” citizen. Unfortunately, Obama is not a “natural born” citizen. Just to name one of the problems, Obama lost his U.S. citizenship when his mother married an Indonesian citizen and relocated herself and Obama to Indonesia wherein Obama’s mother naturalized in Indonesia and Obama followed her naturalization, as he was a minor and in the custody of his mother. Obama failed to take the oath of allegiance when he turned eighteen (18) years to regain his United States Citizenship status.
2. The Democratic National Committee is for Plaintiff and “We the People” who believe in the Democratic Vision. The Democratic National Party is supposed to represent the Democratic Americans in seeking honest leadership, Open Government, Real Security, Energy Independence, Economic Prosperity, Educational Excellence, a Healthcare System that works for Everyone and Retirement Security. The Democratic Party is supposed to represent and protect the interests of working Americans and guaranteeing personal liberties for all. Of which includes securing a Democratic Nominee on the Presidential Election ballot who represents the Democratic vision and who is qualified and eligible to run for Office of the President under the qualifications of the United States Constitution.
3. The actions of Obama, a U.S. Senator, in running for President of the United States, knowing he is not eligible, have been taken entirely without authorization under the United States Constitution, completely ignoring the qualification and procedures created by the United States Constitution he is purporting to enforce.

"Fact check" verified the Certificate of Birth upon an in person inspection, they have the info on their web site (even the blacked out numbers). I still think something is fishy with the scan they posted on-line, but it appears to be the same one as inspected in person by Fact Check.
It will be interesting to see how the lawsuit plays out....

Fact Check's job is to just screen out the baloney, not investigate in depth. So I don't fault them. The Hawaii department of health just verified that it looked like a valid birth certificate. They only looked at the image of the certificate. The department of health official later said that there must be a seal, and signature on the image. This could not be verified because the seal is on the back of the document, although a real birth certificate example shows the real seal clearly. Barack Obama really needs to clear up this issue, because we could have a really nasty impeachment process if it turns out that the document was bogus, and there was some cover-up. It looks like he's already cooked, because he also was an Indonesian citizen. I can't believe a farce like Obama could get this far. People are really gullible.

My son was born in the U.S. and left the U.S.
when he was seven and lived overseas until he was 39.
He lived in Birtain and married a British citizen
and had two daughter born in Britain .
His two daughters born in Britain are having a
hard time getting U.S. citizenship.
Obama' s lawsuit may have some merit.

The lawsuit continues in East Pennsylvania Federal District Court (case_no-2:2008cv04083). Obama and DNC could clear this up immediately by providing the requested documents, instead they choose delaying tactics. If the documents exist, this makes absolutely no sense whatsoever. If this is sheer stupidity I certainly don't want this man to be our President. If this is not sheer stupidity, then what are they hiding? Either way, there's no way my vote will go to Mr. Obama.

I can't stand Obama, but if he's going to be elected, I want it fair and square.
How come no one mentions the connections between factcheck.org and Annenberg? I mean, gimme a break here. Annenberg owns the organization that "verified" the birth certificate is real. The same Annenberg that Obambi chaired with the (un)reputable Bill Ayers.
Star King- you're absolutely right they could clear this up in TWO seconds. As it stands, the Obama campaign and lawyers are looking for this to be dismissed. Why stall or play these games? Just show up with the piece of paper.
Also- how come there isn't a doctor's name or signature on his certificate, on his website?

9/11 Lawsuit
Berg first came to prominence in May, 2004, when he represented Ellen Mariani, wife of Louis Mariani, in a lawsuit against President Bush, Vice President Cheney, former Defense Secretary Donald Rumsfeld, and 55 others under the federal Racketeering Influenced Corrupt Organizations act. Mr. Mariani was killed when United Air Lines flight 175 was flown into the South Tower of the World Trade Center on September 11, 2001. The lawsuit alleges that the government had foreknowledge of the terrorist attacks and provided no warning. In addition, it claims the government actively covered up evidence after the attack. For instance, Mr. Berg alleged that former Florida Governor Jeb Bush went to the offices of Hoffman Aviation School, took records, and had them flown out of the country on an Air Force plane.Sounds like wakco to me

I don't know if all this is true or not about Barac Obama, but if he is a US Citizen, why can't he just show the papers and prove it. Obviously there is something going on or there wouldn't be a lawsuit on him. If he is a Citizen then the lawsuit wouldn't be as far as it is. Even if he is a Citizen, do you really want someone who is causing all this trouble to be your president? Think about it, Pray about it!

I love to have an illegal alien to be the next president.
I am too an illegal alien who walked across the Canadian border years ago.
I too have an ambition to become the first woman president of the US.

This has all been debunked -- it is just not true. I'm sorry that for some of you, you are unable to let go of fear. Get the facts: http://www.snopes.com/politics/obama/citizen.asp

So Snopes.com is the final authority on these matters. All snopes has is a certificate of live birth, not a birth certificate. At the time of his birth, a certificate of live birth could be obtained in Hawaii, up to one year after the actual birth, without even requiring a physician's signature. Mr. Berg's lawsuit is moving forward to the Supreme Court. If it's all the same to you, I'll wait for the real facts to be reported by the governing bodies that have jurisdiction over these matters, not some website.

I think the birth certificate is valid. What Berg is arguing, however, is that at some point through his childhood, while living in Indonesia, his U.S. citizenship was technically revoked in place of an Indonesia one, so that he could attend school there. To even attempt at exposing such a technicality is entirely facetious. He's trying to find whatever loop hole he can to make sure Obama doesn't take office, for reasons personal or political, I do not know...
