Luxury Hotel, Lear 60 Jet And ... Bendable Straws?

The rider of former Alaska Governor Sarah Palin has been found by Stanislaus College students in a garbage bin outside school's administration, revealing pop star like requirements for the politician's appearance at a school event. Palin was scheduled to speak at a fundraiser hosted by Stanislaus College in Turlock, California on June 25.

Stanislaus students Alicia Lewis and Ashli Briggs became aware of the potential existence of a luxurious speaking contract between their school and Sarah Palin and decided to investigate. They found the contract in a dumpster after hearing that University administration was allegedly shredding the documents related to Palin's visit.

There is no name on the contract but a female speaker flying from Anchorage, Alaska is discussed and referred to as "high profile" with a need for "highest order" of security.

Here are some of the requirements from what is alleged to be Sarah Palin's rider discovered by the students:

--first-class airfare or private jet that "MUST BE a Lear 60 or larger" from her home in Alaska to the speaking destination
--airport transfer in a licensed SUV or black town car
--alias hotel booking
--a one-bedroom suite and two single rooms in a deluxe hotel
--a laptop computer
--a printer

In addition, the former Alaska Governor asks that the questions from the audience are to be collected in advance and pre-screened. Members of the audience who wish to take a photo with Palin have to observe a certain protocol and their time to take a picture will be limited.

Finally, there have to be two bottles of water and bendable straws placed near the lectern when Palin speaks.

Here is the full version of Palin's speaking contract that was recovered by Stanislaus students.

It is alleged Palin charges up to $100,000 per speaking engagement, which would make up an 80% share of her annual salary as Alaska's Governor.

Just yesterday, it was reported that Palin is making at least $12 million a year through TV work, book sales and speaking engagements.

Palin's spokesperson has yet to address the situation. Meanwhile, Stanislaus College has released a statement saying "no one has been instructed to destroy vital documents on anyone’s behalf."

Just curious, but couldn't an individual who makes 100K per speaking engagement afford to have their own laptop computer?  I get the printer, I mean, who wants to lug one of those around.  But an extra laptop?

Thanks God,she is not VP.She would have proved more disasterous than Cheney-the-coward.

Is she a good speaker? How a woman who rarely talks sense could be a good speaker?May be a section of American public like and want to hear bombastic nonsense and that is why she is invited to deliver intolerable speeches.
