Simplicity

Everyday, I look forward with anticipation to the new lessons and experiences that the day may hold.  Whether it be, a new skill that I learn or another lesson about life that I encounter I find pleasure in growing with knowledge.  Well, today’s little lesson was nothing new.  Really, it is one of the most basic rules of life that I think, in the craziness of our days we tend to forget about.  Sometimes, the simplest answer is the best.

In the last week, I have spent quite a bit of time organizing and revamping my online homes, changing setting, layouts, themes and mucking around with most of the interiors of my sites.  All in all, I feel the whole procedure went quite well other than some upsets I encountered with the linking of some Google accounts.  To make a long story short, after hours of mindless frustration it turns out that, of course, the simple and logical way of doing things is usually if not always the best way of doing things.

As I tried to fall asleep last night, with a restless mind the thought came to me as to how simple the fix to the whole problem really was, which in companion with the recent catastrophes the world is experiencing brought me to pondering the idea on more of a planetary scale.  So many issues and problems that our planet and people experience could be solved in the simplest of ways, but somewhere in translation we seem to sometimes get lost or sidetracked.

Lesson of the day: Keep It Simple, Silly.

The trouble on the planetary scale or even on a city wide scale is that there are more then just one player that is thinking and that all those player do not necessarily trust one another nor are all necessarily honest nor have all the best intention why many make it complicated in order to protect them self or in order to confuse others so they may take advantage of them.

This only works on a small scale and only as long as there is some sort of democratic consensus based in respect, trust and goodwill.

It is sad it has to be that way...
