Washington DC - June 25, 2009 - No FEMA trailers here, just party tents, as the White House hosts a theme party for Congress.
This year's theme is "Hawaiian Luau." Michelle O told reporters that Congress would be treated to "tiki torches" and "all sorts of dancing." It's going to be "a lot of fun."
Meanwhile, the rest of you, see if you can scrape something together. No further comment needed.

What is there to say? In the middle of the Iran crisis, people being murdered in the streets, economy in the dumper, people living in New Orleans get their FEMA trailers taken and now they have no where to go, we have homeless up to our ears, Rev. Sharpton just finished coming back from Phoenix where the Sheriff is jailing African Americans in record numbers, the FBI is investigating them,
and there's a big party at the White House. Yippee.
Nobody should be throwing a party at taxpayer expense for Congress. If this is about change, then cancel the yearly party and let's give the money to the DC homeless.
I would edit the original entry, but I don't know how? Where's the edit button?
