Lil Boosie Will Be Free as He Was Found Not Guilty. Here is the Verdict

Rapper Lil Boosie was found not guilty, according to media reports.

Lil Boosie had been charged with first-degree murder in connection with the death of Terry Boyd. The jury spent 90 minutes deliberating before handing down their not guilty plea.

The Louisiana-based rapper had gotten support from an online community that fought for his release.

The Lil Boosie trial has gotten national attention, in part, because his music became part of the case. Lawyers argued that his violent rhymes could be considered evidence. One song allegedly features a reference to supposed hit man "Marlo" Mike Louding.
