As print media loses millions a day and liberal Radio proving to be an utter failure Rush Limbaugh demonstrates his popularity in America by signing a $400 million deal. Many will say that this is a victory for the individual independent thinker who has rejected the print, radio and TV's fading liberal monopoly. This may drive the left in Congress to force Rush off the air with the so called "fairness Doctrine." Makes one wonder how badly the Democrats would be arguing for "fairness" if Rush was a Democrat. Earnings now pace him ahead of the annual salaries for network news anchors: Katie Couric, Brian Williams, Charlie Gibson and Diane Sawyer ? combined! The American broadcast industry is rocked, realigned and blasted into a new orbit, yet again, by Rush Limbaugh, the DRUDGE REPORT has learned.
In what is being described as an unprecedented radio contract, Limbaugh will keep his syndicated show on-the-air and e-v-e-r-y-w-h-e-r-e through 2016 with CLEAR CHANNEL and PREMIERE RADIO.
Already host of the most lucrative hours since radio’s inception, Limbaugh’s total package is valued north of $400 million, according to media insiders.
The NEW YORK TIMES will claim this weekend that Limbaugh, marking 20 years this summer as a national host, has secured a 9-figure signing bonus for the new deal, newsroom sources tell DRUDGE.

Maybe the media is not liberal after all? If people put their money where there mouth is, it's pretty obvious where they are getting their lunch. Limbaugh serves up a steaming hot plate of ^&#% every day and the people smile and eat it. It would be shocking to some people to learn how many markets have more then one Limbaugh segment airing at the same time with no voices of disagreement. As though Rush is the only one who has an accurate assessment of the situation. Billing himself as entertainment is probably the most aqccurate assessment of his talents. He gives angry people something else to shout about then their own lives and the wealty something to laugh about because they know what is really happening. Record profits and no trickle! Dubya the Deceiver has replaced the Great Communicator. Hopefully more people will wake up and be ready for change.
