“Khagendra Thapa Magar
The problem is that nobody from the Guinness Book of Records will talk with him according to the sprightly fellow. Because of the perceived slight from the record authorities, he embarked on a world awareness tour with his father to force his way into the record books. His travels will next take him to Italy where he will appear on Italian television in front of millions of gaping viewers.
Just how tall is Khagendra Thapa Magar? He is amazingly short at 22 inches tall which would shatter the current record of 29 inches held by He Pingping who is from the really big country of China. This is a big deal for little people because there isn’t any Olympic sport which simply measures a person to give him the fame and glory which he rightfully seeks. Everyone else has to ski fast or land quads to win something.
Our candidate just turned 18 so he should qualify according to all standards of decency and normalcy in record keeping. He says that the good people at Guinness Book rejected an application for the record four years ago when her was 14 years old. Kids can grow of course, so that only makes sense. But now he says they won’t reconsider his request as a fully grown man at the age of maturity.
Clearly our man suffers from that age old chip on his shoulder known as short man’s complex but he does have a point. Put him in the record books or give the little guy a big reason for not including him this time. Right Juris is behind him 100% as he faces the daunting bureaucracy at Guinness Book.
So now that you’ve heard the news, tell us what you think of the Khagendra Thapa Magar of Nepal: shortest man in the world or must we give him a couple more years to see if he can grow.”
