The Lockdown has now been lifted at Winooski High School in Vermont after a student threatened to kill another student today. The student who made the threat was known to have access to guns, so that is why the school was put on lockdown. The student who may the threat has now been located and the rest of the student body has been allowed to go home.

Winooski High School in Vermont is on lockdown this afternoon and no one is allowed to enter or exit the building as armed police surround the area. The police of Winooski, Colchester and South Burlington are all on the scene at this time. It is unsure what is happening.

Parents were lining up at the school Tuesday afternoon. Some parents told NewsChannel 5 they were very concerned about the situation and are growing increasingly frustrated because they are not being given information about the situation. All entrances to the school parking lots are blocked and Chittenden County sheriff's deputies are also on scene.
