TruemorsLogan's baseball team (the Mets) got a special Blue Rocks experience by getting their names announced with the real players and running the bases. We also got to meet Senator Biden as an unexpected added bonus that night. I think this is a great picture!

This photo was taken after a Delaware Blue Rocks baseball game in April 2008. As we were leaving after the game was over Senator Biden was just sitting on a bench talking to a young woman (I think was his daughter Ashley but not completely sure). I loved how Senator Biden spoke with my sons. He got down to their eye level and spoke to them and listened to them as he would an adult. My younger son Spencer told him he would like to be our president one day. Senator Biden told my son how he'd tried to become president. When I was taking the picture I said, "say money!", because it was the first word that came to mind and Senator Biden cracked up and said, "Son, you don't want to say money if you want to be president", we all laughed and ended up with this wonderful shot having no idea he'd be our next Vice President of the United States!
