Lori Arrowood's Body Has Been Found in Long County Along Tower Road

The Georgia Bureau of Investigation has confirmed that the body found is that of Lori Arrowood, a Fort Stewart soldier's wife whose husband, Sgt. Nate Arrowood, is currently serving in Iraq. Her 17-year-old daughter reported Lori Arrowood missing on Saturday and a man named Kenneth Lumpkin has now been charged in her death.

Lumpkin is a Liberty County corrections officer, but police are not releasing any more information about how Lumpkin is connected to Arrowood's death. They would only say that some items found in Arrowood's home connected her disappearance to Lumpkin.

Her family has confirmed that he was doing some repairs on Arrowood's home on Saturday and was the last person to reportedly see her alive.

A close friend and neighbor of Arrowood's, Terri Groover tells News 3 she's in shock right now. "I don't know what to think.  I know the Lumpkin's as well. We all have known each other for quite some time."
