'LTTE responsible for every death in Wanni' says TULF leader

The Tamil United Liberation Front (TULF) President, V. Anandasangaree, told the gallant soldiers who won back 95 percent of the land occupied by the LTTE terrorists that in recapturing that land they have made a name for themselves by being very concerned not to harm civilians kept as a human shield by the LTTE.
He said they will have to work with the same token, not doing "anything in haste to end the war quickly," keeping up their good name.
The TULF leader added, " the people expect them to act with caution and not to spoil their name that they earned by sacrificing a lot of their comrades. I tell the gallant soldiers that they have already won the war with no hopes for the LTTE to regain any part of the territory. But the civilian lives, they have to protect as a sacred duty cast on them, in defence of the nation."
Sangaree further charged, "The LTTE, once acclaimed by some as very brave, have now become cowards. At this desperate hour they will not hesitate to do any thing with venomous intentions of putting the blame on the others. We expect the army that liberated 95% of the area under the LTTE, with minimum casualties, will not do anything in haste to end the war quickly."
He said, "I am distressed over the unhappy news reaching from Wanni, about the unusually heavy casualties in the War front, from the time the forces set their feet on the Wanni soil. Only two days back the whole of Europe, Scandinavia, Canada, USA and India believed the LTTE's canard that over five thousand soldiers had been taken as captives and a large number of them were killed. The whole of last morning all telephones were ringing continuously to find out as to what is happening in Wanni. By noon, the news, of the capture of Mullaitheevu Town reached all parts of the world, put an end to this mischievous rumour and those who were celebrating the "victory" had to put their heads down in shame.
Whether what we hear today is true or another canard of the LTTE, the people expect the forces to act with restraint, because whatever happens to them, they have a moral duty to safeguard the innocent people, who are trapped in the LTTE held area or rather kept by them under compulsion as human shield, for their own protection.
Hence the LTTE should take the blame for every death that occurs in Wanni today."

Hi I been noticing since when I was kid , about this Sri Lankan government war again LTTE(tamils). It is ridiculous, that the war is not ended for about 30 yrs , why where this LTTE getting support from, who is realy behind them. After my serious studies , it became true that there is no such terrorism exist as SriLankan Government says , what is that fact is political leaders have a mind to stay in their power by war against terrorism. And now this philoshopy is changed after Obama 's presidency. So It would be better idea to go for a peace settlement with the tamils (LTTE). The truth behind is noone can;t think of as Tamils are diffrent with LTTE.
And my other concern is why tamil should kill tamils? ( Sri lankan governemnt claim all the inocent tamils are killed by LTTE)
why do they (LTTE) have to kill their own people , and I been studying for about more than 20 years histoy , there is no massacre against sinhalese people , no mass killing filed like , the ones that government did in tamils main land .

MY SON'S FRIEND IS IN THE SRI LANKA ARMY. HE SAID IT IS THE SRI LANKA ARMY THAT IS PREVENTING THE EVACUATION OF 300 TAMILS TO GET INJURY DUE TO THE ARMY ARTILLERY BARRAGE ON JAN 26,2009.

Do you know that it is the way the Tamils pronounce and write, the name "jAyasinghe" ?
Same as Jayawardana is a Jeyawardana, and Jayasekara is a Jeyasekara to a Tamil?

The Sri Lankan Sinhalese Government(s) have been in power since 1948. However, there was no LTTE at that time. Why do think LTTE rebels was emerged and got stronger after 1983 Black July and continued to have Tamils support even after they left <?xml:namespace prefix = st1 />Sri Lanka for a while? If you say that LTTE is killing Tamils and terrorizing Tamils, we all have relatives, friends and families in Sri Lanka, why do you think we will still support LTTE? We are not in Sri Lanka; we don't have to be afraid of any Tigers. So why do we all support LTTE? Why do you think we go out to protest for the genocide in Sri Lanka taking time out from work, school and universities?
What are you trying to gain by spreading lies and rumors about people who are dying and suffering in the war zone? Tamils civilians and their death deserve more respect than your behavior. Once again you are proving that you are a typical example of your government behavior.

As a matter of fact (fat) the young brave LTTEs don't have any other intention but to ignore everything in the world and wait for the footsteps of SLA in their densteps who are coming to liberate the remaining 24 square kilometers.
