LTTE supporters attack Chinese embassy in London

LONDON: After Indian and Sri Lankan embassies it was the turn of China to face the ire of LTTE sympathisers with some 150 of them carrying flags

and chanting slogans attacked the mission of the Communist nation.

Supporters of banned Tamil Tigers attacked the Chinese Embassy here yesterday and smashed up many windows of the office as they tried to enter inside the building, police said on Thursday. Three protesters were arrested but later released on bail.

The violent demonstrators, carrying flags of Liberation Tigers of Tamil Eelam, went to the Chinese Embassy in busy Portland Place in central London.

It was only a couple of days ago that the Tamil Terrorist supporters carrying the flag of the banned LTTE blockaded the Indian High Commission in London. Displaying scant respect for the law and authorities, the demonstrators had even gone to the extent of beheading a statue of one of the most revered Indian leaders - Jawaharlal Nehru.

The pro LTTE demonstrators tried to get into the Chinese embassy and when they were stopped by the Police they had hurled various types of missiles onto the embassy building and damaged its windows.

Breaking into and damaging embassies seems to be the order of the day for these utterly exasperated and unruly pro LTTE mobs. Naive of the fact that attacking foreign embassies is attacking sovereign land of those countries, these demonstrators revel in what they do.

In the development of an insurgency there is a period which is known as 'the active resistance phase''. This type of behavior by the so called demonstrators makes one wonder whether it is active resistance and where they are heading.

It is hoped that the British authorities will bring the perpetrators to book.

Embassies around the world - Beware. One can be sure that most of these demonstators were very polite and nice when they went to apply and obtain their residency, dole etc from their host countries. Gratitude is something which seems to be seriously lacking in this new breed of Terrorist supporters.

Another imaginative invention is the attack on friendly countries. As part of their scare tactics, the resourceful diasporans staged an attack on Indian and Sri Lankan Embassies in London.

Since China and Pakistan too support the GoSL's fight against LTTE terrorists most daredevils among these LTTE supporters started giving warning to these countries too, saying that the next target will be them. Some of the LTTE infested websites and forums are overflowing with such warnings.

It is one of the coolest strategy of LTTE is that by breaking glasses and some bricks, countries would stop supporting Sri Lanka's fight against terrorism.

What a disgrace. It is so sad that while the Tamils, Muslims and Sinhalese in Sri Lanka have learned to live together in peace in the last 20 years, a hate culture was being nourished among the Tamil Diaspora in western countries.

It is no secret that these agitations are due to the frustration they feel about the defeat of the LTTE. When a 100,000 civilians escaped the hostage situation and came to safe areas in a single day, did a single one of these agitators heave a sigh of relief? I know all Sri Lankans did.

It is scary to imagine where this hate culture is heading.

Whether, its ltte in SL. Their is a new outbreak of LTTE plague around da world! Goverments must tackled the ltte roaches now or the tamil roaches will attack & use there sucide belts on innocents of ppl. If u ever see a LTTE flag plz notify the local police. These are TERRORIST for cying out loud. This ltte plague has casued mother SL to be robbed from being a rich island as it once was. Now the Tamil Hdu terrorist will try to attack Pakistani embassy now!!!!! Why isn;t the English Goverment setting up secret cameras to track down this ltte plague epidimic crisis!!!!!!!
