NP Rank:
LTTE training Maoists cadre?
VISAKHAPATNAM: Union home minister P Chidambaram’s assertion that the naxalites are acquiring arms from abroad is only the tip of the iceberg, as
central intelligence agencies have found fresh evidence of joint training camps and meetings conducted by the Maoists with Tamil Tigers in the forests of south and central India.
In fact, the central intelligence top brass has warned Andhra Pradesh, Tamil Nadu, Chhattisgarh and Orissa on the alleged intrusion of Tamil Tigers into Indian territorial waters. According to the sources, a well-trained 12-member group of Tamil Tigers has recently sneaked into India to join hands with the Maoists.
“They entered north coastal Andhra Pradesh via Kerala and after splitting into three groups, one of which is suspected to have found a safe haven in Vizianagaram Agency area,” sources said. This comes close on the heels of an intelligence alert to the coastal states on the East Coast about a possible LTTE cadre intrusion.
But what is bothering the security establishments is the prowess of Tamil Tigers in triggering explosives and suicide bombing. “Imagine the expertise of Tigers coupled with Maoists’ jungle warfare. It will be a deadly combination for the security agencies to tackle with,” analysts said.
Will the Maoists stand to gain? “Of course, the Tigers have made sizable gains in guerrilla warfare fighting Lankan forces and they would pass on the expertise to the Maoists,” a security analyst said.
Security wings suspect that the Maoists could take the help of Tamil Tigers to prepare themselves to defend the all-out central forces’ attack codenamed ‘Operation Green Hunt’ on Abujmad, their strategic base and stronghold in the Dandakaranya in Chhattisgarh. With Chidambaram avowing that the operation is aimed at defeating the top Maoist leadership, sources said the focus is on to nab or kill AP’s naxal leaders, who constitute 80 per cent of the Maoist top brass
The LTTe stated training various terrorist groups in the late 1990s. They began by training the guerillas in Assam, India. Their willingness to train anybody soon hit the ears of other terrorist groups.
It is a known fact that they trained the Al Quaida and Taliban in explosives, and terrorist in Malaysia, Indonesia, Nepal, Naxalites in India, some training was done in Thailand.
This type of training is conducted by the LTTE for mutual benefit. Now that the LTTE is officially dead, the remnants continue with the training, more for sustenance. They get well paid for the training. Without this, these LTTE remnants would also be in refugee camps, living a hand to mouth existance.
It is nothing but appropriate that these terrorist be hounded out and eliminated, for the good of the world.

yeah yeah "fresh evidence" from India is total immature crap. India under the ruling of Sonia Gandhi is facing many critics as she is the mian source for the current negligence and threat to Indian Security . Her chosen aid to Sri Lanka to kill hundreds of thousands of Tamils and Sri Lanka"s top officials likely to face war crime charges and India and China protecting Sri Lankan Govt atrocities is we should focus on. In order to divert world"s attention from war crime charges of the Sri Lankan Govt officials and its chosen aid and negligence for the Genocide conducted in the north of Sri lanka, keeping LTTE agenda active and they being a threat to India and linking them with Maoist will instill fear, hatred and confusion, 2 different rebel groups with 2 different motives . India unwilling to accept it"s shame of unable to solve their own internal problem seem to be simply forcing the jigsaw and creating a new agenda. Just becz Bollywood sounds like Hollywood, they cant be the same right ? Indian Officials should limit their bolly news crap and get on with real life. Indian security is already in total mess, threats from Paki, China and other rebels, and now fresh problem likely to arise from south of India as China is spreading its influence in sri lanka, Sri Lankan Govt having chosen to work closely with China is worrying Sonia"s Indian Govt as it is providing Sri Lanka with millions of money ""under the so call aid to Tamils in concentration camps"" but the truth is, those money is not for the Tamils in concentration camps but for the Rajapaksa Goverment , hoping for a minimum Chinese influence in southern region and greater access for Indian Congress Govt. India is probably feeling the pain now, as when the LTTE were present, they were so call an indirect natural barrier around the Indian Ocean region and now after closing their chapter, India is facing influential threat from the Growing Power China, not to deny India do fear the influence of China in the Indian Ocean region, to divert all these attention, they are coming with new fatasy stories. We will await and see what is next from them

Fruit Tree should try to write a fiction novel. Sure to succeed.
Sri Lanka is also working closely with India. India had felt the threat of China from a long time ago. Remember the Chinese Invasion of India? The 1962 Sino- Indian war?
Suggest you read "The Himalayan Blunder" by Brigadier John P. Dalvi.
Also India was upset when the US agreed to give "SAID" - Scientific, Agricultural, Industrial and Defence advice and knowledge to China.
When US and China resumed diplomatic ties on Jan 1, 1979, with the signing of a joint communique.
1980 - When US decided to sell advanced computers with with possible military applications to China.
1981 - US deciding to export 3 nuclear reactors to China.
1982 - When US approved F-5E fighters to be given to China. Plus, $60 million worth of Military spare parts.
The list goes on.
Sri Lanka looks up to India as it always did. LTTE looked up to India too, and failed. India still remains one of Sri Lanka's strongest allies. The Indian assistance to Sri Lanka has not stopped.
Also, you haven't touched upon the importance of the Trincomalee harbor and which countries are interested in developing and controlling it.
So, leave out China, Sonia and Sri Lanka in your stories of fantasy. Write a book in your spare time. Who knows, it might be a best seller. :-)
