According to the Pakistan Prime Minister Gilani, the now extinct Tamil terrorist group, LTTE was behind the ludicrous attack on visiting Sri Lankan Cricket team in Lahore, Pakistan. The daring attack took place on 3rd March 2009 that left 6 persons dead and 6 Sri Lankan cricketers
injured.
Pakistan Premier Yousuf Raza Gilani on Sunday said Sri Lankan President Mahinda Rajapaksa had told him the terrorists involved in the attack on his country's cricket team in Lahore were funded by Lankan elements in the island.
Gilani said he had asked Rajapaksa to share more information about the funding so that Pakistan can send a team from the Interior Ministry to go into the issue further.
"In Libya, the Sri Lankan President told me that they have clues that the attack on the Lankan team was funded from Sri Lanka. I told him that if he was willing to share these clues, we could send our officials from the Interior Ministry," Gilain told reporters after visiting Minister for Religious Affairs Hamid Saeed Kazmi at a hospital here.

Good story, attacking sports figures instead of going Mano to Mano with army forces shows Tamil cowardice at every level.

I love this story since it goes a level beyond. LTTE terrorists killed and evicted Muslims by scores. LeT terrorists were supposed to be fighting against infidels who attack the 'outfidels' of the faith.
Not able to decide whether this is a holy or unholy alliance.Like politics, terror also creates strange bedfellows..!
