Luka Rocco Magnotta Mugshot Photo-Canadian Psycho Found in Berlin
Luka Rocco Magnotta, aka the Canadian Psycho, was arrested in Berlin on June 4, 2012, according to media reports. Magnotta is the main suspect in the brutal murder of Chinese student Lin Jun, was arrested at an internet cafe in Berlin, Germany.
After posting video of the murder online, Magnotta is believed to have fled Canada. Authorities had focused their search in France, but later tried to determine if Magnotta tried to leave France for other parts of Europe.
If Magnotta is in custody, it could be the beginning of the end of one of the strangest criminals in Canadian history.
Magnotta is "allegedly a former stripper and porn star" having appeared in multiple websites and photo spreads.
There were rumors that Luka Rocco Magnotta dated convicted killer Karla Homolka.
Worst of all, Magnotta may have been involved in posting a video of him torturing kittens.
The Sun had interviewed Luka Magnotta over the cat-killing videos, and Magnotta said that he'd kill people next. Canadian law enforcement did nothing. While Vic Toews says that his domestic spying bill would have made it easier to catch Magnotta, that argument is difficult to swallow. After all, Magnotta told a newspaper what he'd be doing, then he allegedly videotaped himself doing it, and mailed the evidence to members of government, and still managed to get out of Canada.
How would trolling though millions of unrelated emails and texts have helped an arguably already-outclassed RCMP catch Luka Magnotta?
UPDATE: A Luka Magnotta mugshot photo has been released. Nice tank top, dude.
