Lynsie Murley TSA Patdown Settlement Reached: Lynsie Murley Photo
Lynsie Murley Won a Settlement Against the TSA Who She Said Exposed Her Breasts During a Patdown in May 2008
The amount Murley received has not been disclosed, but it is allegedly a 'nominal' settlement from the government.
She filed a lawsuit in 2010 for negligence and intentional infliction of emotional distress, after she claimed a TSA agent pulled her blouse down and exposed her breasts to everyone in the Corpus Christi airport.
Her lawyer, Jerry McLaughlin, said that his client had received 'some justice'.
Mr McLaughlin reportedly laughed loudly when asked if the negotiated payment was around six figures.
He said that the amount was, 'Way less than that. It wasn't a whole lot of money'.
Lynsie Murley said that the TSA agents joked about what they had done for a while, and then after she was consoled by a friend, she returned to the line and was told by a male TSA agent that he wished he had been there when the incident occurred.

It's not just one woman. These evil monsters are making a daily practice of exposing girls' and women's breasts and vaginas to strange men at the airport! We have male screeners selecting which pre-teen and teenage girls "catch their eye" and sending these girls to a machine that lets the screener's buddies examine the girls' naked bodies in excruciating detail. The government just won a judgment that prevents the release of 2000 of these nude images. I believe they are hiding the pictures because if people realized how explicit and pornographic these images are they would never pose for them. I will never fly while these perverts are putting innocent people through a horrific gauntlet of sexual humiliation. My body is my own. These creeps have no right to shove their hands up between my legs, inside my clothing. These abhorrent assaults must end!

Alliah, your comments are factually incorrect, inflammatory, sensationalist, and ridiculous. Spend even fifteen minutes watching a security line at an Airport before you draw such incredulous conclusions. Here are a few of them since I stand doubtful you'll actually go to the trouble to do so. First, at airports with AIT or full body scanners (not all airports have them yet), travelers pass through the AIT unless they "opt out" of their own volition or if they have an issue that may warrant individualized screening, like a wheelchair. AIT images are viewed in a private, windowless "resolution room" where no cell phones, cameras, or anything else is allowed. TSA does background checks on every employee and perverts need not apply. For opt-out or "pat-down" screening procedures, female TSA employees screen females, make TSA employees screen males. They're invasive, yes, and it's not the best of worlds by any means. I can't think of anybody (including TSA employees) who is happy that TSA has had to resort to this level of screening. TSA employees also aren't perfect, either. They're human, just like you. They make mistakes sometimes. Still, I see an organization of people tasked with a difficult, often thankless job, and they do it well. And no, I don't work for TSA. Never have. Like I said, it's not perfect. However, as noted in the other comment to this column, "It's a lot better than bombs on airplanes..." I agree. Get your facts straight, Alliah, before you spread sensationalist rants.

Look there is no need for pat downs or scanners. A dog can and will detect any liquid or powder capable of exploding. I know there are some myths about how you can fool a K-9 but that is all they are myths. The government and security company's are using public fear to be able to spend millions on these machines. Its not a conspiracy just good business sense. After 9/11 people wanted new bells and whistles. They got them, and now airports open themselves too bad press such as this story.

Greg P, you are a supporter of tyrants! You need to pull your head out of your Azz! You, and the rest of you yellow cowards, would rather give up your humanity to "feel" like you are safe from the big bad terrorists! You bunch of stinky puzzies! This country has been castrated and all of you eunuchs are the reason Muslims want to kill Americans, especially all the female dominated ones like you!
