Two Macomb Michigan Courthouses Have Been Evacuated Tuesday Morning After a Bomb Threat
WDIV Detroit reports that the Sterling Heights District Court and the Macomb County Circuit Court have both been evacuated after a man called in multiple bomb threats. The first threat came in to the Sterling Heights court about a bomb going off in Macomb County Circuit Court.
Sterling Heights Court has been cleared of any bombs, meaning the courthouse can reopen at 1pm.
Police and dogs are still searching the Circuit Court, even though the caller said the first bomb would go off at 10:30am and the courthouses were not evacuated until 11am.
We will update this story when necessary.
