Mahmood Al-Yousif Arrested in Bahrain

Blogger Mahmood Al-Yousif, a huge figure in the Bahrain blogging scene who runs Mahmood's Den (mahmood.tv), has been arrested by Bahraini police. Mahmood Al-Yousif champions a non-sectarian Bahrain, and has written extensively about the anti-government movement in his home country.

Mahmood tweeted, "Police here for me". He was taken out of his home at 3am local time on March 30.

Mahmood Al-Yousif also manages Just Bahraini, an anti-sectarian site. Mahmood's brother, Jamal Alyousif, confirmed the arrest.
