[Update - 12/11/2009]: US military prosecutors say they will be seeking death penalty in the case of the alleged Fort Hood shooter Nidal Hasan.
Nidal Malik Hasan, the man suspected of being the gunman in November 5th Fort Hood shooting in which 13 people died and 29 people were injured, is to be charged with 13 counts of premeditated murder. Hasan will be charged in military court, not civilian court. The announcement will be officially made later today at Fort Hood military base.
The next step will be for military prosecuters to begin an Article 32 Proceeding, the military version of a grand jury.
Hasan remains under guard in Brooke Army Medical Center where he’s recovering from wounds he suffered when two civilian police officers shot him last Thursday.
Meanwhile, doctors and staff who oversaw Hasan's training said he expressed his religious views zealously and behaved strangely, but they did not see him as a violent person or threat.
Moreover, it is alleged Hasan might have wired money to Pakistan in recent months, raising suspicion that Hasan could have been connected to religious groups in Pakistan.

... America is using Muslims to fight Muslims....Now that is sick and criminal...not Major Hasan.
.The US plays the same song and dance routine in using Muslims to kill Muslims like they used Iraq to fight Iran.. What is it with the American system of violence.... You all call the Major a murderer for defending his country and people......and do nothing when Bush murders a million innocent people in Iraq...and thousands more in Afghanistan... I say the Major is a brave Hero.... If not better than the Shoe Guy in Iraq.... You pig Military punks get away with rape, torture, and murder of people in Iraq and you really blame the Major? You led him to it.... He was defending himself.... God Bless Major Hasan......

Rev...... You are the biggest idiot I've ever heard!!! Major Hasan is an American, born in America and is a Muslim by faith, just like a Christian makes a choice to be a Christian, a Buddhist as Buddhist and so on...... He also chose to serve in this military knowing there was a possibility of war. What was his purpose in killing those individuals? With his education, the fact that he was a trained psychiatrist, and that service men and women are supposed to trust each other with their lives, the fact that he killed in cold blood proves nothing but that he was a coward, just like the rest of the terrorists. You don't deserve to call yourself an American if that's what you are. I am a service member and have been for 14 years and it's people like you that make me ashamed. If you don't like it here... MOVE! If we are that corrupt and our military so awful, go somewhere where you can be appreciated.

Plus GI Joe...you say leave....but you have no idea that you seem to be everywhere in the world; occupying or trying to occupy other countries with your lies...and murder machine. Maybe you hero's should think about protecting your own backyard..but then again that may be hard...because really your backyard is stolen property too!
