NP Rank:
Man arrested at B.C. border with 'terrorist resources'

What? Where? Who? Me? Oh this? Goodness how did all that gold get here?
Again, you have to ask yourself, is Canada once again being played as an All Day Sucker?
Mr. Nawaya, apparently a man with two US Degrees plays Stupid when he smuggles close to a $1 million dollars in gold into Canada. I don't buy that Paranoia and Naivete crap! If the man has two university degrees, he has to have some semblence of intelligence. Not wanting to pay taxes on the gold? Well yeah, don't we all wish? I say take all his ill gotten gain, and deport his moronic back to the good ole USA where I am sure Homeland Security will after they finish with him, may reserve a suite for him at Gitmo or some other resort. As far as I am concerned Mr. Nawaya attempt to immigrate to Canada should be immediately struck down, because first he broke the law even before his first immigration hearing, and two rest assured he will do it again once in Canada, and three, any one that f*ckin stupid and naive like him, we do not need in Canada ever. Is he a terrorist? Who knows? One thing for sure, we don't need to find out the hard way when he flies Air Canada with a gold plated box cutter!
VANCOUVER — Paranoia and naivete led a Syrian man to lie about why he was crossing the border with nearly $1 million in gold and what's been called "terrorist resources," says the lawyer for the man who has been held as a potential security threat since early last month.
Khaled Nawaya, a flight instructor, was arrested by Canada Border Services agents when they found $800,000 in gold coins and other currency in his car and pockets on Oct. 6, as he crossed into Surrey, B.C., near Vancouver.
"He didn't want to be taxed on it," lawyer Phil Rankin said Tuesday.

Invite him to swim with a sea of sharks, he would feel more at home there.
