Man crashes truck into Maple Ridge sushi restaurant
Two women are dead and several others injured after a bizarre incident at a sushi restaurant in Maple Ridge, B.C.
A 51-year-old man reportedly crashed his truck into a strip mall restaurant on the Lougheed Highway at 203rd Street. There were 45 people in the establishment when the accident occurred, and the truck ended up with five people trapped underneath.
Some witnesses say the truck failed to slow down, while others report that it may have sped up before hitting the restaurant.
A 51-year-old man is in police custody and a homicide investigation has been launched after a mid-sized truck crashed into a sushi restaurant killing two women on Thursday night in Maple Ridge, B.C.
Five people were trapped under the Dodge pickup truck when it crashed in to the Halu Sushi restaurant, just after 6 p.m. PT, according to the B.C. Ambulance Service. Several people were hurt and three were taken to hospital with critical injuries.
There were 45 people in the restaurant when the truck crashed through the front window and ended up in the rear kitchen.
RCMP homicide investigators have taken over the case after witnesses reported that the vehicle did not slow down.

I belong to a Federal Injuured Workers Network and I am hearing that the man driving the truck was an injured worker who went over the edge because of his fustration with the WCB , is this true?
It would be most helpful if someone could line me up with a member of his family.
