Metro Police are searching for a person of interest in the death of a Kentucky man found last month inside a Nashville hotel room. Investigators have identified Harold Doss, 23, as a person of interest in Jiro Kanazawa's death.

They say the room at Americas Best Value Inn, 2403 Brick Church Pike, where Kanazawa, 34, was found on Oct. 5 was rented to Doss a day earlier.

Doss is described as a black man weighing 160 pounds and standing 6 feet tall. His last known address is on Mooremans Arm Road. He was convicted of two counts of aggravated robbery in 2006 and was sentenced to eight years before being paroled in March, police said.

*** It pains me to write this article because Harold Doss is my cousin and a close friend. ***

Anyone with information regarding Doss is urged to contact Crime Stoppers at 74-CRIME.
