Manmade Land : Building a New Israel Forever.

It is true that the Middle East has been without a symbol for unity. There is nothing to keep things together like a big work project, since the time of the building of the Egyptian Pyramids. Why can't Israel build manmade land off the Coast of Israel? It would be a first. And I think it can be done, without getting mired in the politics that if they do this, it admits they were wrong. On the contrary it means they are right and something that is New for the beginning to ending the years of bloodshed, for land they have but can't agree toward settlement, or sharing. I think it would be a beautiful new City and area where it joins the people for peace and to point out how/ why they didn't think of it sooner...to save lives and to end the cause to the terror.

And so Tamileelam...your point in your post?  What would you like to do? Shall we get people to realize that we need to focus on job creation instead of war? And how do we do that? First by not just promoting war comments and war stories that have no direction toward being solved. Our trouble is that we don't put forward solutions to end the violence.

I shall tell the SLA to stop bombing so we can create jobs. Why the fighting in that region? What is the quarrel? Is there too many people and not enough work? What? This is where you fail in your comment.

I see. The thought is the Sinhalese people are not being fair, and the British were inept in when leaving Ceylon. Perhaps this is the time when Gandhi got Independence for India.

I would think that Sinhalese would want to be fair. Why do they not treat the Tamil people fair? I have always learned to give the best, you get the best in return. People like that, and want to be supportive and have valid friends. I will never understand humanity to want to have enemies, instead of friends. Where is our concious? Perhaps with too many people we think someone else will always help them, so we go onward without a thought...But how to solve such a dilemma? People need to communicate and tell us the needs and expectations, and what is fair, and what is not fair, and how can we make it fair, and reasonable for people to live good lives. Maybe the government should reward people who do not have children? Is the problem we have too many people in the world and not enough jobs? What is your thinking on this?

I have thought there are too many people. So I have never had children. I have two adopted Children I take care of.

Yes! I say build it. If they can build islands for holiday resorts at Dubai, and have done so in Hong Kong and Tokyo Bay, and also reclaimed 30% of Netherlands from the sea, why not in the Middle East? This is a great idea - the world working together to create something new and beautiful - like a positive spin on the tower of Babel story. And we could call it the New Atlantis, or your idea of the New Jerusalem. Why not? So where do I sign up? I'll come and dig ditches for free. Cheers mate.

They need jobs to work together. Give both the Israelis and Palestinians a reason to work together. Give the Middle East its new foundation and future. Now is the time to lift our bother and sisters from the depths of sorrow and war. Now is the time to prove we can build a legitimate Israel without the discourse and accusation of stealing lands. Now is the time to let go of the past and grab hold of our future, let go of old arguements and prejudices, and build a rising Israel coming up from the depths of the sea. It is our responsibility to make it clear that without Israel there is no Palestine, and without a Palestine there can be no Israel.

Give Palestine their land, and their state. Give them no reason to have hatred in their hearts. Let us go forward to make bread not only for Israeli's but to make bread for our brothers in Palestine. Let us rise up, and put our hatred toward building tomorrow by making a new bed of peace for our family in the Middle East.

How grand the Project will be, how delightful to see the beacon of peace glistening from the baptismal waters of the ocean. How delightful to see a sign of hope for the people, to rest their grievances upon.

It is my hope my writings prompted the cease fire in Israel. It is my hope that somehow the new Obama Administration will allocate money differently to Israel instead of arms...but bridges toward Peace and Prosperity, by the building of this land/city called the New Jerusalem.

I too am happy to deliver such hope, and to sign on toward contributing to this seedling we  wish to nourish and bring forth fruit to the world. How Grand and Splendid it will be....How magnificient a dream come true.

And as you said it is in Dubai, and the other places. What is significant is that really Israel needs this to end a protracted 60 plus year conflicting Warzone. I want to be clear this is not about moving Israelis out of the region. But is to authenticate the claims to Israelis right to exist and have built their own land. Of course they can give back the occupied territories.. This is meant to create jobs and a beacon of Peace established for the people..

But the idea is to build it off the coast of Israel to create jobs for the Palestinians as well.

Unless of course we build two man made lands, one to promote work for Palestinians and another to move Jews too. But I think we need to get the message out that Jews are not moving, and have nothing to fear. The problem is no work in the Middle East and we need to get people working together for peace...instead of war and arms.

The mentality in the world needs to develop trust in each other..and that means ending guns and military influence in the world.

If Jews are Jews and Palestinians are Palestinians why do they worship the same God named Gun? In order to stop the worshipping of  GUN, we must dispose of its heresy on the world.

We need work and that means a New Israel and a New Palestine.... It is not about running away to another land. It is about building a New Land for all people to live in Peace and support. Dissolve the Gun God...It serves only those who want death, and destruction.

Israelis after declaring it self a State reformed a desert into farms and now you feel they should build a new Holland okay maybe a good idea, but first how deep is the sea around Israels coast? lol i dont think that Israels problems revolve around high population, not sure perhaps they do need more land. I think your find with a bit of research the land they invaded and held was all done to create a buffer zone. Yes Zionist populated it as they want to keep the buffer zones in retaliation against their government..

The problem is that Israel is bordered by Arab nations and at the point of declaring it self a state those nations attacked Israel in strength. Since that point of time Israel rightfully or wrongfully has found the need to defend it self.

Its going to be a hard job to convince this nation to give up its arms or to down scale. Without equal commitment from its neighbors

The answer of peace has always been in Arab hands and if they stopped attacking Israel, Israel would not attack them its always been a heavy handed retalation thing Israel feels it needs to show its strength to its many past and present enemies.

The seeking of peace can be the only option for any US president talking peace solutions with Israel is not the solution but talking with the Arabs is.

In this comment I am not taking sides as to my mind both sides are as bad as each other, one side only could create the peace and stop the loss of inocent lifes and the solution is in the palistinans hands.

They need jobs Bob.....Israel needs to make an offering about the land issues... They know they have occupied lands....They need to put something material on the table for peace. All the rubble they created in Gaza......can go into the Sea....for a foundation in building new man made land for the people......creating jobs......and burying their arms and munitions with the rubble as well. Work for peace......you get peace....
