Huge Landslide has killed 12 construction workers in Kashmir in India. Workers got buried under two lorries.
Police in Indian-administered Kashmir say at least a dozen labourers are feared killed in a huge landslide.
The men were trapped under rocks and earth in Kishtwar district, about 160km (100 miles) south-east of Srinagar.
"It was a massive landslide. Two lorries are buried under huge boulders," senior local police official Mumtaz Ahmed told the BBC.
He said three bodies had been recovered so far. Unofficial reports suggest the number of casualties may be far higher.

Sanjay Jha, thanks for getting this story out so quickly. It will now show up on the home page for four hours. If new developments justify it, I'll renew this flag for another cycle.

Sanjay Jha, I like this story. It's good stuff. Certainly a tragic event all too common worldwide.

I think this is an important story and would benefit from other NowPublic contributors working on it. I've flagged it as News Wanted and invite others in relevant locations to look for more evidence.
