Massive Earthquake hits Java Island in Indonesia
"A 7.4 Earthquake hits Java Island (Indonesia) approximately around 02:55:02 pm local time. Anyone has relative or friends that experience this massive earthquake? The latest damage report says the earthquake killed at least 57 people and injuring more than 300, according to Indonesian Health Ministry official Rustam Pakaya. Another 40 are missing and possibly trapped, he said.
The death toll could "change significantly" given the scale of damage, with at least 57 people reported dead in West Java.
Indonesia is located in the Pacific Ring of Fire. About 90% of the world’s earthquakes and 80% of the world’s largest earthquakes occur along the Ring of Fire. The next most seismic region (5–6% of earthquakes and 17% of the world’s largest earthquakes) is the Alpide belt, which extends from Java to Sumatra through the Himalayas, the Mediterranean, and out into the Atlantic."

Thank you everyone for the contribution to this developing story! This story relates to me since I was born in Jakarta and still have families all around the earthquake area. Fortunately i checked with them and they are all safe. That's my personal update. My prayers go to the victims and the people that are lost.
