Mayor's Walk for Windsor's 117th Birthday Gets Crashed (dscf9112.mp4)

A walk to celebrate Windsor, Ontario's 117th birthday on May 19, 2009, became a golden opportunity for striking city workers (week 5 is about to start and they still have no contract) to meet the mayor and give him an earful. I couldn't see where Mayor Eddie Francis was standing until after i shot this but i realized afterwards that he was in the scene where i mentioned that a police boat on hand (perhaps to rescue Eddie if he was thrown in!). Mayor Francis stands to the right of the boat and is the young guy with black hair wearing a blue windbreaker next to one of his councillors with white hair and mustache and a long sleeved top. Strikers held up the walkers for several minutes as they chanted, "Hey Ho, Eddie's Gotta Go."
