With the news yesterday of another round of missile tests by Iran, John McCain criticized Barack Obama and made the following statement:

"This is the same organization that I voted to condemn as a terrorist organization when an amendment was on the floor of the U.S. Senate"

The only problem is, of course, that John McCain didn't actually make that vote like he said he did.

Question: On the Amendment (Kyl Amdt. No. 3017 as Modified )  Not Voting - McCain (R-AZ)

So yet again we are faced with the question, is John McCain lying to the American people, hoping no one will notice his lies? Or is he simply confused and forgot that he actually missed the vote?

John McCain seems to be confused an awful lot.

srmjjg, I like this story. It's good stuff.  Obama, "I have been to 57 states with one more to go"

Confusion goes both ways.

McCain has to be careful about criticizing a vote by another .  You can't say, if I voted I would have voted for the ammendment"  Obama has missed over 90% of his votes in recent days as well.  I have been on this for years.  Wrote Congress and called as well.  If one is not at work, one should not be paid.  How is it that when McCain and Obama miss work they still get paid?  I am tired of AWOL congress so they can apply for another job.  How many of us get to look for another job and get paid at the same time.  It all comes down to fraud.
