McCain’s loss is the Senates gain, McCain dismember's colleagues, Full Transcripts Available
Uber pundit and American proclamationist David S Broder of the Washington Post recently indexed the short comings of Senator John McCain’s run for the Oval Office.
he had limited interest in, and capacity for, the organization and management of large enterprises
McCain could not create a coherent philosophy or vision of his own
McCain had an engineer's approach to policymaking. He had no large principles that he could apply to specific problems; each fresh question set off a search for a "practical" solution
Had this race been a little bit closer just four days prior to Election night perhaps a critical game seven, Election Day slugfest could have broken out but from this vantage point that appears unlikely at this time.
So, is Broder right?
Well how the hell should I know?
I’m not an uber pundit, Pulitzer-Prize winning, Professor, Columnist and Author but what I can tell you is . . . John McCain’s loss will certainly be to the benefit of a left-weighted Senate. For those who haven’t heard the Dem.’s are on a crash course with a filibuster proof Senate majority, something all American will be much safer with under Senator McCain’s supervision. Sure John the Senator won’t have the luxury of being able to accomplish very much under the ironclad rule of his "friends" on the left but we can all bask in the knowledge that the American Maverick John McCain will return to the Senate to watch over the gang of unsavoury, social justice types that are set to take it over.
Want more than just my word? How about cold, hard facts? How about evidence?
For those who are unaware of the congressional effectiveness of the White Tornado check out this 2005 Senate speech . ..
