McGary Middle School in Evansville Lock Down over Suicidal Threat

McGary Middle School is on lock down due to a "disturbed" person threatening to commit suicide. A man is threatening to kill himself in the Savannah Gardens apartmetns next door to McGary Middle School. All children are been kept inside the school with all entrances sealed off.

Police say there is a hold on students leaving Harrison and Caze because they might have to travel the direction of the incident to get home.

Police are asking the parents of McGary children to wait in the parking lot of Buy Low until the situation ends.

McGary Middle School is located in Evansville, IN.

According to a reporter and anchor of 14 News, Nathan Ryder, negotiators had been talking to the man via cell phone.
