Meeting was called to review and discuss the law and order situation in Mussoorie by newly appointed Station In charge MC Joshi at Gurdwara premises in Library. The meeting was attended by various dignitaries and representatives of the town and especially Library Bazaar area.MC Joshi addressing the gathering said hat this meeting was to introduce himself to the public and to know their problems and queries regarding law, order and traffic condition before the onslaught of summer season.

He highlighted the need to secure their doors and windows using magic eye and door chains. he also emphasized on putting grills on the window for their safety. He said that citizens were Police without Uniform and alertness was the key to safe living. He also advised the Shopkeepers of Library to hire a Chowkidar jointly so that there is a vigil at night. He also said that Taxi Drivers were the ears and eyes of the Police and they should inform police on any suspected activities. He firmly stated he will book two wheelers without helmet in the town be it local or tourist. He also said that hoteliers should check the identification of the tourist before his entry.MC Joshi also solicits cooperation from all quarters to serve the town better. He said that he has received support from the town and it was because of that that the cases have expedited quickly. He also said that for season the staff will be increased.Mr RN Mathur, Ram Kumar, Rajwant Rawat, Vijay Ramola raised question of increasing the vigil at night at Camels back road and other secluded places in town.MC Joshi answering to query said that he would closely on the suggestions provided t him and ensure safe and secure season fr all in coming months.

Chatter Singh Rawat, Ajay Bhandari, Pankaj Jain, Gulab Singh, Kamal Kaintura,Shoorvir Bhandari and others were present on the occasion.
