When the news broke that Megan Wants a Millionaire contestant Ryan Jenkins, 32, was considered a "person of interest" in the murder of his wife, Jasmine Fiore, 28, reality TV fans began to fear that the show would be cancelled. It looks like those fears may have come true.
The official VH1 statement on the status of Megan Wants a Millionaire is that it is has not been cancelled but only "postponed." VH1 will immediately stop airing future episodes of Megan Wants a Millionaire and has not said when or if airing of the show will resume. An indefinite postponement sounds an awful lot like a de facto cancellation.

Megan Wants a Millionaire finished taping in March, and Megan has already picked her millionaire match, which has reality TV watchers speculating that Ryan Jenkins may have been the runner up or at the very least a core finalist. Ryan Jenkins was set to appear in another VH1 series I Love Money 3, which suggests that he was a key player in Megan Wants a Millionaire. No word on whether I Love Money 3 will be pulled as well.
Ryan Jenkins was a contestant on Megan Wants A Millionaire, an outside production, produced and owned by 51 Minds, that is licensed to VH1. The show completed production at the end of March. Given the unfortunate circumstances, VH1 has postponed any future airings. This is a tragic situation and our thoughts go out to the victim’s family.
Ryan Jenkins married Jasmine Fiore in March 2009, shortly after Megan Wants a Millionaire ended taping, so logic suggests that he wasn't Megan's pick. He wrapped filming of I Love Money 3 in July and is rumored to have won $250,000 on that show. While filming in Mexico Ryan Jenkins often spoke of Jasmine Fiore, calling her "the love of my life."
The body of Jasmine Fiore was found stuffed into a bloody suitcase in a dumpster outside an apartment complex in Buena Park. She was last seen in San Diego at a poker tournament with Ryan Jenkins, who is now missing and wanted by police. Jenkins was last heard from on Saturday, August 15, 2009, when he reported Jasmine missing.
California police are now looking for Ryan Jenkins for questioning. He may be in one of two vehicles; a white 2007 Mercedes CL S550 registered to Jasmine Fiore, or his own car, a black BMW X5.
A reality TV star is making headlines at this hour for something other than appearing on the airwaves on VH1's "Megan Wants a Millionaire." Police want to question 32 year old Ryan Jenkins in connection with the brutal death of a young, gorgeous swimsuit model. 28 year old Jasmine Fiore vanished after a poker tournament in San Diego. Fiore was allegedly there with Jenkins and reports are the two were husband and wife, secretly married in Las Vegas. Police confirm Jenkins was the one who reported Fiore missing Saturday night, just hours after her body was discovered in a bloody suitcase, thrown away like trash at a Buena Park apartment complex dumpster...but then Jenkins went missing. There are two vehicles of interest in the search for Jenkins...Fiore's white 2007 Mercedes CL S550 and Jenkins' black BMW X5. Police say Jenkins could be behind the wheel of either car.

This is so like OMG!!! Megan was kissing and having romantic dinners with a killer!!! Who's married now! OMG!! This makes you think about all the other reality shows, could there have been a psychopath on the other shows as well?? Vh1 definately needs to screen these people more thoroughly. I know Megan is like creeped out, but you know what the show sucked. Megan thought this was her chance to become "famous" haha. Too bad the show is now "temporarily" cancelled and that psycho is probably on most of the episodes so everytime someone mentions the show they will mention killer. Sucks for her but great for us who don't want to suffer through seeing Megan on Vh1 anymore. Thanks Vh1 you did all of us a favor.

why is that a bad thing to say? thats not disrespecting the girls family who was killed at all. Megan is a piece of shit who doesn't deserve to get lavished with gifts from these rich men thats DISGUSTING, I'm glad her show is off as well. And the girl who was murdered knew him for two days before marrying him... uh well , let's see, this day and age you don't do stuff like that. I'm not saying she deserved it in any way shape or form, but that was dumb. I feel bad for her family..

Now that the moron commited suicide, we can all say " record a new show and put the BS behind VH1", things like this happen everyday in america, why so much attention just because he was on a show, how about all the other women that have been mudered and cops still cant find the killer. cops actually had the work done for them, this moron wasnt smart at all to commit such a crime after being in the spotlight.

I think we can all agree that Megan wants a Millionare was a good show to some people. But we all need to stop going on theses websites and trashing someone who is trying to make a living. And you have to admit that it's refreshing that she isn't lying about the fact that she wants a guy with money. So now we need to focus on praying for the family of the model that has lost their precious daughter. And the poor girl had to go through beating, teeth being pulled out, and finger tips being cut off. This was a horrible tragedy and we ned to stop trashing Megan and stop acting like petty children who have nothing better to do that trash people in a burn book. Because in the end where does it honestly get us.

Second, learn how to spell AND type if you are going to post your little comments and call other people stupid! Plus how can you say Megan was not mean to anybody? Did you ever watch any show she was on? She was horrible to everyone on "I Love $" and she seems like the most vapid, worthless excuse for a human I have seen in awhile! He didn't kill her before the show so it wouldn't have mattered how much they screened, they had no way to predict he was a murderer.
