Ms Megyn Kelly, Fox Network, Playboy magazine, and the people who buy Playboy for the articles <stop laughing> are all entitled to the same protection under the First Amendment to the Constitution. Playboy is a for profit corporation that charges purchasers for their anachronistic publication and Ms Kelly is gainfully employed by the somewhat jingoistic Fox News, another for profit corporation. Many people do not read Playboy or listen to Fox News and I doubt that anyone is forced to do so. Under normal circumstances I would never known about the article or Ms Kelly's reaction, but a FaceBook contact said he liked the video so I watched. Now I will read the article, if possible. Anything less could be interpreted as an attempt to abridge Playboy's right to free speech. I like to keep things fair and balanced.

So, Mr. Hellyer, what you seem to be saying is that any one who works for a business that is "chronologically out of place"(anachronistic) can say anything they want to say as long as that "chronologically out of place" business charges a fee for what they say or write. Excuse me if I do not understand what Ms. Kelly's employment with the somewhat "overly patriotic"(Jingoistic)Fox News has to do with it.
To follow your thinking to a logical conclusion, Barny Frank (who definitely works for an anachronistic organization) could write out a list of useless idiots with whom he would like to have homosexual hate sex and as long as he charged people to read the list ( A lot of people including Mr. Hellyer and myself did not pay to read the Play Boy article. I'm sure nobody was forced to read it) it is alright because it is his First Amendment right. Now it just so happens that the name John Hellyer is on Barney's list. Mr. Hellyer meets the first criteria(you go on Face Book, you use big words without taking the time to find out their meaning, and refuse to read or listen to diversified news outlets and form logical opinions).I do not know if you work for a somewhat overly patriotic(jingoistic) for profit corporation. If you do, fine. If you do not, your logic prohibits you from responding to Barney.
Don't be ridiculous Mr. Hellyer, not reading the article does not violate Playboy's 1st Amendment rights. The First Amendment gives them the right to say or print whatever they want but it does not give them the right to have it read.
Do not use big words. That in part is what got you on Barney's list.
Don't try to be fair and balanced. Fair and balanced, to you, means sitting on a fence or taking the middle of the road. You're going to get a fence post rammed up your butt or run over by a car. (I'm guessing by your attitude that you voted for the America hater and not the American hero. You're lucky he won because if he has his way and you keep taking the middle of the road you'll be hit by a Hugo instead of an SUV. Take a side, Damn it!!!! What Playboy Magazine did, may have been legal but it was WRONG and you know it. Again to follow your thinking, slavery was alright because after all it was legal even though it was wrong and everybody, even the slave owners, knew it.
Oh and by the way don't worry, even if you are on Barney's list, he would never do anything like that to you. His politics depends on you and people like you. Too many people think like you and the consequences are that people like Barney have slowly but surely been able to insidiously bring many of their wrong and immoral ideals out of the closet and into mainstream America.
I'm sorry for the length of this response but I have reached a point in my life that I am completely fed up with people like you who are allowing a once great nation to be destroyed from within by Playboy Magazine, David Letterman, Barney Frank and all his in your face homo friends, Chris Dodd, the Kennedy's, Barrack Obama, the Clintons, John Kerry, most of the rest of the Democrat Party, John McCain and many in the Republican Party, Oprah Winfrey, Jerry Springer, and on and on and on. As you can see I have a pretty long list of my own.
Sincerely,
Earl Brown

Addendum: Ok, I saw the first section of the article and the cheerleading video of Ms Malkin's screed about "Losers" on the Playboy site. If the rest of the article was like the attack on Ms Malkin, I have no desire to go further. What I read was offensive to men and women. I also read a half hearted reaction from Bonnie Erbe at US News & World Report. As a result, I still will not buy Playboy, watch Fox News or bother with US News & World Report except to browse a five year old copy in my Dr's office. I believe women are perfectly capable of standing up for themselves and do not need a man in order to see this whole tempest for what it is. One symbol summarizes my opinion. $
Have a nice day.

Mr. Brown, I couldn't have said it better myself. People ARE getting fed up with the PC BS. I see a great backlash coming.
Thank you
