Former Londonderry High School Teacher Melinda Dennehy Has Plead Guilty to Sending Nude Photos of Herself to a Student

Melinda Dennehy, 41, plead guilty in court on Tuesday for 'sexting' nude photos of herself to a 15-year-old male student.

Ms. Dennehy was an English teacher at Londonderry High School when she sent a male student four nude photos of herself, followed by dozens of text messages and it is even thought that the two kissed in a classroom on two separate occasions.

She was discovered when the male student, who has not been named, sent the photos to his friends so they could look at them and eventually Ms. Dennehy was found out by police and identified by a co-worker.

She is charged with indecent exposure and in exchange for pleading guilty she has received a suspended jail sentence on the condition that she have no more contact with the student or go to Londonderry High School. She must also remain on good behavior. She had already resigned from her job in April.
