According to YLE (in Finnish) men are more likely to be victims of serious domestic violence in Finland. According to Statistics Finland in year 2008 116 men, 111 women and 8 children died in domestic violence in Finland. Men are also more often victims of serious attacks than women. Still men are very rarely seen at reformatory. Also police does not take that seriously male victims.

Opinion: In Finland the violence against men has not been seen as a problem, meanwhile women have been "over victimized". The discussion has turned to healthier direction just in last few years.

Interesting, I am certain this will be followed by some debating for a wile.

This does raise a great deal of questions though, how did they die and by whom where they killed?

I do think that this is worthy of some more and deeper studies.
