Christmas time, children love the  Legoman

I am dreaming of a white Christmas in the Sun of the French riviera. This year many stay at home for Christmas, so my Nice city decided to do something for Children. In the middle of the City a Wonderworld Snow forest park created. White Christmas trees a real Alley for Santa Claus to come and sit on his red Louis XIV throne.

The Legoman

The fascination for the Legoman full size is a real competition for Santa. Children take the Legoman for serious, they have him all at home. A snapshoot with Lego and the day was O.K. In difficult times to have a free Entertainment Christmas area takes much tension from the parents away. No parking problem you come from outside for 1 Euro in the city, for 1 Euro you can also go from here to the famous Ski resorts 70km ride.

Free Entrance

Many Families come to save 50 bugs, the entrance free. So feel good,  attractions, painting, singing, some shops with artwork and Food waffels..The little Icestadium natural for Southbeach people the attraction..

Christmas LED lighting

Last year the Riviera changed to low power LED christmas lighting to save electricity. This year only LED, some stay over the year like the Blue Light city artwork. First LED light bulbs show up in the Supermarkets. Public Buildings changed complete to energy efficient CFL lighting. Streets are somehow different in the night, more romantic white and blue LED but less light. The leader in new lighting technology California far ahead.

To all Readers and Writers on NowPublic,

the crowd powered journal looking for adventure. Some or many face difficult times. I had today a phonecall to WashigtonDC. My partner already in holidays, The lady on the phone, we had a friendly talk about our expectations and how to survive. People get more personal in crisis, live for a minute the expectations of a good life. Yes going home for Christmas many at the Airports, hopefully no snow storm waiting.

What did I do today ?

Some small shoppings, the bottle of wine I forgot, I bought a suncream too, want to go in the mountains, snow 2 meters high this year. I prepared a seminar for cleantech next year and ate too much cookies. Just now I am collecting pictures from 2008 just to know what I have done.

2009

A critical year to manage. But many new chances for people that are Allrounders and self-organizing, difficult for Middle management to keep the place. Everywhere people look for the sign of Hope. Just in case I will do like the Legoman show up, have some fun and start walking into 2009, changing my Websites. With all the people I met at NowPublic, including the show fights or shoutouts, I think I got more fit for change in Life. So writing makes more quick to react, restructure brain, good investment. Hope we come along 2009 without Brain bailout just acting with the instinct of survival in the right direction.

Dec-25 special France

In France, always different,  many still get their Christmas presents today Dec-25 and go the same day for Lunch In a restaurant with the Family. The Economy crisis makes "Home Restaurant" a good alternative; The Supermarkets deliver Luxury menues for reasonable prices at home like a Pizza. In general French christmas adapts now to Europe with Dec-24 celebration. But still the habit with the many presents for the children is to expensive and bursts many credit or debit cards untill February 2009.
