"Michael Jackson’s This Is It" Movie Premiere In LA Live Stream

"Michael Jackson's This Is It" movie premieres in Los Angeles today. The movie directed by Kenny Ortega will have a limited two-week run in over 50 countries. The "This is It" movie is a compilation of documentary footage shot during the rehearsals for Jackson's "This Is It" final concert tour that was to begin in July 2009, a week after Michael Jackson died.

The "This Is It" movie will only play in Los Angeles today, followed by a series of international premieres. So far, reactions to the movie have been mixed. Celebrities like Elizabeth Taylor are saying the movie is "the most brilliant piece of film-making...ever seen." While some of Jackson's fans launched website "This is NOT It," alleging Jackson's unacknowledged health problems while preparing for the tour.

the MJ Thriller video always peaks in popularity just before Halloween, no doubt the premiere of the movie is banking on those stats as well
