"A couple of years ago Michael told me he was worried that people were out to get him," she said. "'They're gonna kill me for my publishing. They want my catalogues and they're gonna kill me for these.' I knew something terrible was going to happen."

I do not know how reliable this
source is. It is a new one for me
but I will check further. There are
several stories on this but they all
come from News of the World.

"Michael was murdered," she said. "And we don't think just one person was involved. Rather, it was a conspiracy of people. I feel it was all about money. Michael was worth well over a billion in music publishing assets and somebody killed him for that. He was worth more dead than alive."

A billion dollars or two billion

is a lot of money and a good

motive for murder. While this

is a possibility it is so far only

an opinion of his sister, LaToya.

However, CNN TV just reported

what she said, and said she is convinced

he was murdered. The LA police have

not yet ruled out murder.

I think this is unlikely, but possible.

Those who would benefit most are his family, mainly his children.

I do not think his family would want him dead.

"I believe Michael was murdered, I felt that from the start."

She told the News Of The World: "We don't think just one person was involved in the murder. It was a conspiracy to get Michael's money."

La Toya described her brother as the "loneliest man in the world" at the time of his death - less than 12 hours after completing a rehearsal for his tour.

Thank you for that source.

It seems clear LaToya Jackson said this

but it is still open as to whether it is only her opinion or if it is true.

Of course:)

Follow the money. Heard his 50 performance tour was well-insured also.

Yes, and his albums are now selling more than when he was alive.

LONDON -- Two British Sunday newspapers said LaToya Jackson believes her brother Michael Jackson was murdered by a group of conspirators trying to get hold of his fortune.

LaToya Jackson said she knows who is responsible for her brother's death and is determined to see them brought to justice, the News of the World reported.

According to the published interviews with the News of the World and the Mail on Sunday, she did not name any of the people she believes were involved and did not offer any evidence to support her claim that foul play was involved in the singer's sudden death June 25.

Thanks for this.

The question now is does she have real  information about his death.

If she does that will be a game changer.

If she knows something the police will want to talk to her.

Any thing is possible at this point and this is very feasible in deed. If true it would add to the tragic and premature death his children have to endure.

That is true.  The two older children would understand what all this means and it would affect them greatly.

It could be murder yes,

I disagree that the family are the main beneficiries.

Michael Jackson had a lot of debts remember and just a few weeks ago he was to auction his belongings to raise cash. Yet suddenly these were withdrawn from sale. The 02 concerts were again to raise money. Now what happens when an artist dies suddenly ? yes a surge in sales of previous albums and dvds + merchandise for years afterwards. Look at Elvis for example.

Now the main beneficiries are the record companies and publishers. Considering Jackson was verging on bankruptcy and these companies were going to lose out suddenly all this has changed.

Maybe so but it will be years before we know everything
