Mike Huckabee Says the Federal Government May Have to Shut Down

Speaking on the CBS ‘Early Show’ to plug his new book, former Arkansas Gov. Mike Huckabee said that the government will eventually have to shut down, but it won’t be that bad this time around. “I think it could happen. And maybe it has to,” he explained. “Because sometime, either now or later, the government’s going to shut down, either from bankruptcy in the future, or from a targeted effect to try to get someone’s attention that we’re overspending and not managing at all.”
