You know, I had previously seen the trailer, and saw Mike Meyers as the Love Guru last night on American Idol.
After watching both performances, "Austin Powers it aint Baybeee! Actually it came across pretty lame, trying to recapture his Fame and intro new Catch Phrases like he did a decade ago. Myers even incudes his old buddy "Mini Me".
But to base the premise on his fave Toronto Leafs Hockey Team, well right there he gets a penalty for Bad "Acting " Conduct!
I can only guess why he made this movie is because someone drove up to his house with a tractor trailer full of money.
As for racist overtones, oh please get over it, it's comedy!
Sad to say, but after reading other posts, I think this Swami, may be heading straight to "Bollywood video".
