Mild intensity quake shakes Pakistan's terror-stricken city

An earthquake of mild intensity shook Lahore, cultural capital of Pakistan, and adjacent areas on Sunday, reports said.Already frightened by the massive suicide bombings in the city a couple of days that left 57 people dead, the residents of city came out of their houses and offices. No loss of life or property has, however, been reported so far.

LAHORE: Tremors were felt in Lahore and its adjacent areas including Kasur, Geo News reported Sunday.
According to Met Office, the quake was recorded at 4.7 at Richter scale. The epicenter is located in eastern part of Lahore at about 178 kilometers in Northern parts of India.
The tremors were felt in Gujranwala and Sargodha and its suburbs.
Panicked people came out on road.

Today the earth seems to be active in many places at once. 

Fortunately this was was only mild, It almost seems that earthquakes make less victims then suicide bomber or war do.

Yes. I would rather add that not only today but nowadays there is a lot of such activity and if I am not wrong it is growing day by day.

Today we have monitoring devices and satellites as well as internet allowing us to broadcast news and events as well as monitored those as we never had before in Human history. Out accuracy and record keeping has improved dramatically.
