Minister’s henchmen have assaulted a Doctor

 A relative of a politician of a prominent Minister of the Govt. and a senior officer of the politician had assaulted a Doctor of Lahugala , Ampara district on 27th morning at about 10.00. While this lady Doctor was delivering a lecture, this hooligan relative of the politician has arrived at the vicinity of this lecture venue and tried to take a call making loud noises , when there had arisen an altercation leading to this attack. This hooligan has been a constant source of nuisance obstructing this Doctor’s duties due to the backing of the political power of a Minister of the province. Following this assault , the lady Doctor has been admitted to the Ampara Gen. Hospital for treatment.
