Brownie, an orange tabby cat from Indiana, was shot with an arrow through his head last week, but miraculously survived. The arrow pierced the muscle on top of Brownie's head with the tip coming out right above his eye. Pictures of Brownie with an arrow through his head can be seen on the New York Daily News.

Brownie had been missing for three days, when he walked up to his house on August 28  with an arrow through his head. Brownie's owner, Dillon Eads, said the sight "just broke my heart."

What made Eads even more sad was the fact that someone might have been using Brownie for target practice. He called the police right away. The local Monroe Country Human Association is also offering $1,450 for information that leads to the arrest of the person who shot Brownie in the head.

The arrow has been removed from Brownie's head. Brownie is healing and will return home in about 1 week.
